GREAT MINDS - DC
Located above the Metro station in Washington DC’s Navy Yard neighborhood, the curriculum company office project expands an existing workplace from 5,400 SF to 14,500 SF, creating a highly-curated environment for the organization’s Legal, IT, HR, and Marketing teams. The design builds upon a series of office volumes rotated at alternating ten-degree angles, using framed views, shifting perspectives, and informal collaboration zones to transform circulation into an engaging spatial experience. Responding to evolving workplace culture, the project prioritizes employee well-being through flexible work settings, exceptional acoustic performance, and seamless integration of technology within a refined architectural framework. Locally-crafted custom furnishings, curated artwork, and thoughtful material selections reinforce the curriculum company’s culture of curiosity, awe, and discovery while creating a distinctive workplace destination.
